In September, monthly inflation in Metropolitan Lima reached +0.01%, higher than the -0.29% recorded in the previous month. This monthly performance was largely explained by price variations in bulb onions, limes, bus and minibus fares, tomatoes, and jack mackerel. Meanwhile, price declines in other items, such as chicken eggs, mangoes, eviscerated chicken, green peas, and interprovincial bus fares, partially offset inflationary pressures.
