In January 2021, extractive activity in the fishing sector recorded a significant increase of 429.8% in volume terms compared to the same month of the previous year. This result was mainly explained by higher extractive activity of resources intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (+9,801.6%) and, to a lesser extent, resources intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (+4.9%).
