In January 2021, domestic trade sales increased by 17.8% year-on-year. This advance was the result of the strong performance of the main activities within the sector, such as supermarkets and hypermarkets (+26.2%), department stores (+6.6%), hardware and home improvement stores (+18.7%), and pharmacies and personal care stores (+29.1%).
