In February 2021, manufacturing production recorded a slight decrease of 1.3% compared to the same month of the previous year. This result was explained by a decline in the primary subsector (-2.7%), mainly due to lower production in the precious and non-ferrous metals industry (-17.1%). The non-primary subsector also recorded a slight decrease (-0.8%), due to weaker performance in consumer goods (-5.2%).
