In May 2022, domestic trade sales increased slightly by 0.7% year-on-year, as a result of the positive performance of some activities within the sector, such as hardware and home improvement stores (+10.8%), pharmacies and drugstores (+9.1%), and book and newspaper retailers and stationery shops (+72.9%).
