Manufacturing production recorded a slight increase of 1.2% compared to May 2021 and 3.7% compared to May 2019, the pre-pandemic period. This positive result was explained by the increase in industrial exports (+20.3%) and the continued growth of the non-primary subsector (+9.1%), mainly due to intermediate goods industries (+18.8%) and industrial services (+6.0%) linked to the construction and mining sectors.
