In March 2023, sales in the domestic trade sector increased by 2.4% year-on-year, as a result of the positive performance of some activities within the sector, such as supermarkets and hypermarkets (+4.7%), pharmacies and drugstores (+5.9%), and book and newspaper retailers and stationery shops (+64.6%).
