Extractive activity in the fishing sector recorded a significant increase of 10.4% in volume terms compared to September 2022. This result was mainly explained by higher catches of resources intended for direct human consumption (DHC), particularly those from artisanal fishing activities, such as mahi-mahi, bonito, and jack mackerel, supported by favorable oceanographic conditions for these species.
