Manufacturing production registered a moderate growth of 2.7% compared to April 2021 and 4.4% compared to April 2019 (pre-pandemic). This positive result is driven by the rise in industrial exports (+23.0%) and the dynamism of non-primary manufacturing (+7.9%), mainly, by intermediate goods (+11.3%), consumer goods (+5.4%) and capital goods (+9.7%) industries oriented to the construction and mining sector.
