Manufacturing production recorded moderate growth of 2.7% compared to April 2021 and 4.4% compared to April 2019, the pre-pandemic period. This positive result was driven by the increase in industrial exports (+23.0%) and the strong performance of the non-primary subsector (+7.9%), mainly due to intermediate goods industries (+11.3%), consumer goods industries (+5.4%), and capital goods industries (+9.7%) linked to the construction and mining sectors.
