In December 2024, domestic trade sector sales recorded a significant year-on-year growth of 10.0%, driven by higher revenues in supermarkets and hypermarkets (+7.1%), department stores (+12.5%), home equipment (+12.0%), books, newspapers, and stationery (+47.5%), hardware and finishing stores (+16.9%), as well as pharmacies and drugstores (+7.3%).
