In January 2025, the aquaculture harvest reached a total of 8.3 thousand metric tons, representing a 9.1% decrease compared to the same month of the previous year. This decline was mainly due to a reduction in the harvest of trout (-39.4%) and tilapia (-32.5%), both affected by adverse weather conditions. However, this drop was partially offset by an increase in the harvest of scallops (+55.4%) and shrimp (+1.2%).
