Manufacturing production recorded a slight decrease of 0.9% compared to September 2021. This result was explained by the decline in the primary subsector (-1.2%), due to the lower availability of raw material for industrial fishing, oil refining, and sugar production, as a result of weather-related factors and higher input prices. To a lesser extent, the decline in the non-primary subsector (-0.8%) also contributed to this result.
