In January 2021, manufacturing production grew by 7.0% compared to the same month of the previous year. This positive result was explained by the significant growth of the primary subsector (+27.5%), mainly due to higher production in the fishery products industry (+335.0%). The non-primary subsector also recorded a slight increase (+1.0%) after eleven months of contraction.
