In January 2023, aquaculture harvest totaled 7,034 MT, a figure 50.8% lower than in the same period of the previous year. This was mainly due to lower harvests of scallops (-70.4%) and trout (-60.3%). Meanwhile, aquaculture production totaled 3,475 gross metric tons (GMT), a figure 38.8% lower than in the same period of 2022.
