The purpose of this document is to identify opportunities for improvement in the design and operational management of the processes related to the effectiveness of the intervention “Training and Technical Assistance on Environmental Management Tools and Good Environmental Practices,” which is provided to MSMEs to increase their productivity and strengthen their capacities in terms of knowledge of the legal framework for environmental management and certification. Accordingly, the design evaluation seeks to determine whether the intervention design is relevant to the direct and indirect causes identified, and whether it is consistent with sectoral and national strategies.
