In November 2023, domestic trade sales recorded a slight decline of 2.3%, due to lower sales in department stores (-7.3%), hardware and home improvement stores (-15.9%), home equipment stores (-9.1%), and pharmacies and drugstores (-6.0%). In contrast, this result was partially offset by higher sales in supermarkets (+5.7%) and book and newspaper retailers and stationery shops (+15.2%).
