Total landings of hydrobiological resources amounted to 146.6 thousand metric tons, 8.7 thousand metric tons above the level recorded in April 2022, when landings reached 137.9 thousand metric tons. This result was mainly explained by a significant increase in landings of resources intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (+25.4%). In contrast, it was partially offset by lower anchoveta landings intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (-75.3%).
