In April 2024, the landings of hydrobiological resources in the fishing sector reached a total of 870.8 thousand tons (MT), which represents an increase of 494.2% compared to the same month of the previous year. This result is mainly due to the 11,988.4% higher extraction of the anchovy resource for Indirect Human Consumption (CHI). In contrast, it was attenuated by the decrease in the extraction of resources destined for Direct Human Consumption (DCH) by 34.1%.
