Aquaculture harvest activity recorded a 32.8% decrease in volume compared to 2022, with harvest reaching 94,758 MT. This result was due to unfavorable weather conditions, including the presence of warm waters caused by the El Niño phenomenon and Cyclone Yaku, which led to lower scallop farming. In addition, social conflicts in southern Peru at the beginning of the year also had an impact, generating losses in trout farming.
