Peru stands out for its strong entrepreneurial activity, ranking sixth among Latin American countries with the highest early-stage entrepreneurship rates, ahead of other economies in the region such as Colombia (23.6%), Argentina (23.4%), and Brazil (20.3%). In 2024, the country recorded an entrepreneurship rate of 13.2%, with 309,786 formal entrepreneurial MSEs.
