Total landings of hydrobiological resources amounted to 687.2 thousand metric tons, 395.3 thousand metric tons above the level recorded in January 2022, when landings reached 291.9 thousand metric tons. This result was mainly explained by a significant increase in anchoveta landings intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (+392.1%). In contrast, it was partially offset by lower extractive activity in artisanal fishing intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (-22.3%).
