Extractive activity in the fishing sector recorded a significant decrease of 62.7% in volume terms compared to January 2023. This result was mainly explained by lower anchoveta catches intended for indirect human consumption (IHC), which decreased by 77.5%. To a lesser extent, it was also affected by a 5.0% decrease in landings of resources intended for direct human consumption (DHC).
