In July 2024, frozen aquaculture production totaled 2,411 gross metric tons (GMT), a figure 11.0% lower than in July 2023, when production volume reached 2,701 GMT. This decline was due to lower production of shrimp-based frozen products, which was affected by adverse weather conditions.
