In June 2024, landings of hydrobiological resources in the fishing sector totaled 362.2 thousand metric tons, representing growth of 133.2% compared to the same month of the previous year. This result was mainly explained by an increase in anchoveta catches intended for indirect human consumption (IHC), which rose by 481.6%, as well as by a 6.0% increase in catches of resources intended for direct human consumption (DHC).
