In June 2024, domestic trade sales increased by 8.0% year-on-year, driven by growth in sales at supermarkets (+7.1%), department stores (+19.0%), home equipment (+7.3%), hardware and finishes (+10.7%), and pharmacies and drugstores (+0.5%). In contrast, this overall result was tempered by a decline in sales of books, newspapers, and stationery (-9.6%).
