During 2022, MSMEs experienced a slowdown in growth compared to 2021. This was due to the continuous crises that occurred throughout the year, which, being prolonged, generated social and economic instability. Factors such as sustained inflation increases and supply chain disruptions severely affected MSMEs, which are more vulnerable due to their characteristics. These include the heterogeneity in their production methods, market access, technology adoption, and factors such as human capital.
