During 2022, MSMEs experienced a slowdown in growth compared to 2021. This was explained by the ongoing crises that occurred throughout the year, which, due to their prolonged nature, generated social and economic instability, including sustained increases in inflation and supply chain disruptions. These factors severely affected MSMEs, which are more vulnerable given their characteristics, particularly the heterogeneity of their production methods, access to markets, technology adoption, human capital, and other factors.
