Total landings of hydrobiological resources amounted to 132.2 thousand metric tons, 1,028.0 thousand metric tons below the level recorded in May 2022, when landings reached 1,160.1 thousand metric tons. This decrease was mainly explained by lower anchoveta landings intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (-99.3%), although it was partially offset by higher catches of resources intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (+37.3%).
