In November 2022, sales in the domestic commerce sector increased slightly by 0.6% with respect to the same period of the previous year, as a result of the positive performance of sales in supermarkets and hypermarkets (+0.4%), pharmacies and drugstores (+11.9%) as well as books, newspapers and stationery (+43.0%). In contrast, this result was partially mitigated by the negative performance of department stores (-3.7%), hardware and finishing stores (-5.9%) as well as home furnishings (-7.7%).
