In September 2023, sales in the domestic trade sector recorded a year-on-year increase of 2.8%, as a result of the positive performance of some activities within the sector, such as supermarkets and hypermarkets (+12.4%), pharmacies and drugstores (+10.3%), and book and newspaper retailers and stationery shops (+6.7%).
