In July 2021, extractive activity in the fishing sector decreased by 52.2% in volume terms compared to July 2020. This result was mainly explained by lower anchoveta landings intended for the fishmeal industry, as well as by lower landings of other fishery resources intended for direct human consumption (DHC).
