The extractive activity of the Fishing Sector experienced a significant decrease of 77.2% in terms of volume compared to July 2022. This negative result, for the third consecutive month, was due to the null catch of anchoveta destined for Indirect Human Consumption (I.H.C.) due to the suspension of the first anchoveta fishing season 2023 in the North-Central zone of the Peruvian coast due to the high incidence of juveniles.
