In November 2024, the aquaculture harvest reached 12,368 metric tons, a figure 55% higher than in November 2023 (7,986 metric tons). This result was mainly due to a significant increase in the harvest of scallops (+348%) and trout (+64%). However, the production of frozen aquaculture products totaled 2,683 metric tons base, representing a 31% year-on-year decrease. This decline was due to a reduction in the production of frozen shrimp-based products, which were affected by adverse weather conditions.
