In November 2024, aquaculture harvest amounted to 12,368 MT, a figure 55.0% higher than in November 2023 (7,986 MT). This result was mainly due to higher harvests of scallops (+348.0%) and trout (+64.0%). However, frozen aquaculture production totaled 2,683 gross metric tons (GMT), representing a 31.0% year-on-year decrease. This decline was due to lower production of shrimp-based frozen products, which was affected by adverse weather conditions.
