Total landings of hydrobiological resources amounted to 276.1 thousand metric tons, 153.5 thousand metric tons above the level recorded in August 2022, when landings reached 122.7 thousand metric tons. This increase was mainly explained by higher anchoveta landings intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (+417.9%) and, to a lesser extent, by higher catches of resources intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (+6.9%).
