Survey of Department Stores and Retail Hypermarkets

The Monthly Statistics Survey of Department Stores, Supermarkets and Specialized Stores was implemented with the purpose of obtaining indicators of the internal trade sector and basic information on the evolution of sales, employment and inventories of department stores, supermarkets and specialized stores as well as Malls.

January 2021: Domestic Trade Statistical Bulletin

In January 2021, domestic trade sales increased by 17.8% year-on-year. This advance was the result of the good performance of the main activities that make up this sector, such as: supermarkets and hypermarkets (26.2%), department stores (6.6%), hardware stores and home furnishings (18.7%), and pharmacies and care staff (29.1%).

March 2021: Domestic Trade Statistical Bulletin

In March 2021, domestic trade sales increased by 37.7% year-on-year, as a result of the positive performance of the main activities that make up this sector, such as: supermarkets and hypermarkets (8.3%), department stores (191.9%), hardware stores and finishes (84.5%), home equipment (190.0%), and pharmacies and pharmacies (28.6%).

April 2021: Domestic Trade Statistical Bulletin

In April 2021, domestic trade sales increased by 87.9% year-on-year, as a result of the positive performance of the main activities that make up this sector, such as department stores (3,352.3%), hardware and finishing stores (4,020.1%), equipment household (1,705.9%), supermarkets and hypermarkets (22.8%), and pharmacies and pharmacies (23.4%).
