Design and Process Evaluation of “Technical Assistance and Training in Good Fishing Practices, Quality, and Food Safety Provided by SANIPES”

The design evaluation sought to determine whether the intervention design is relevant to the direct and indirect causes identified and whether it is consistent with sectoral and national strategies. It was also supported by specialized literature exploring the benefits of providing this type of training to artisanal fishers. The process evaluation provides a critical assessment of how inputs are transformed into services, reviewing compliance with the processes and outputs established in the operational model, considering their effectiveness, quality, and contribution to achieving the intervention’s results.
