In June 2024, manufacturing production saw a slight increase of 0.2%. This result was influenced by a significant rise in the primary subsector (+10.7%), mainly due to increased industrial fishing (+93.3%) thanks to the availability of raw material (anchovy). In contrast, the result was partially offset by a decrease in the non-primary subsector (-3.0%), attributed to a reduction in the production of consumer goods, capital goods, and industrial services.
