In June 2024, manufacturing production recorded a slight increase of 0.2%. This result was driven by the significant increase in the primary subsector (+10.7%), mainly due to higher industrial fishing (+93.3%) amid the availability of raw material —anchovy. In contrast, this result was partially offset by a decrease in the non-primary subsector (-3.0%), attributed to reduced production of consumer goods, capital goods, and industrial services.
