Total landings of hydrobiological resources amounted to 104.1 thousand metric tons, 15.7 thousand metric tons above the level recorded in October 2021, when landings reached 88.4 thousand metric tons. This result was mainly explained by higher extractive activity in artisanal fishing intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (+18.2%). In contrast, it was partially offset by a decrease in the use of anchoveta intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (-12.7%).
