Total landings of hydrobiological resources amounted to 89.6 thousand metric tons, 12.6 thousand metric tons above the level recorded in September 2021, when landings reached 77.0 thousand metric tons. This increase was mainly explained by higher extractive activity in artisanal fishing intended for direct human consumption (DHC) (+15.3%). It was also supported by a significant increase in anchoveta landings in the southern zone intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) (+638.8%).
