Extractive activity in the fishing sector recorded a moderate increase of 7.0% in volume terms compared to August 2021. The sector accumulated three consecutive months of growth. This month’s result was mainly explained by higher anchoveta landings intended for the fishmeal industry in the southern zone, specifically in Arequipa and Moquegua.
