Extractive activity in the fishing sector recorded a significant increase of 67.6% in volume terms compared to July 2021. This result was mainly explained by higher anchoveta landings intended for the fishmeal industry from the north-central and southern zones, supported by favorable oceanographic conditions, particularly cold waters, for this species.
