Extractive activity in the fishing sector recorded an increase of 22.0% in volume terms compared to June 2021. This result was mainly explained by higher anchoveta landings intended for indirect human consumption (IHC) from the north-central zone, corresponding to the first 2022 fishing season, supported by favorable oceanographic conditions, particularly cold waters, for this species.
