The extractive activity of the Fishing Sector recorded a significant increase of 46.1%, in terms of volume, compared to March 2022, accumulating three consecutive months of positive results. This result is mainly due to the higher landings of fishery resources from artisanal fisheries (squid, bonito, jack mackerel and mackerel) favored by the anomalous warm conditions of the Peruvian sea in the North and Central coast.
