Extractive activity in the fishing sector recorded a significant increase of 46.1% in volume terms compared to March 2022, marking three consecutive months of positive results. This result was mainly explained by higher landings of fishery resources from artisanal fishing, including giant squid, bonito, jack mackerel, and mackerel, supported by anomalous warm conditions in the Peruvian sea along the northern and central coast.
