The extractive activity of the Fishing Sector experienced a significant decrease of 66.5% in terms of volume compared to April 2021. This result is mainly explained by the reduction in anchoveta landings destined for the flour industry (-91.4%), due to the fact that the first 2022 fishing season in the North-Central zone has not yet started this month, while in 2021 it began on April 23rd .
