In December 2022, sales in the internal trade sector increased by 4.4% year-over-year, due to positive performance in most activities within this sector, including: supermarkets and hypermarkets (+1.8%), department stores (+0.4%), hardware stores and home finishing products (+3.4%), pharmacies and drugstores (+14.6%), and books, newspapers, and stationery items (+141.9%).

July 2023: Internal Trade Statistical Bulletin

In July 2023, sales in the internal trade sector recorded a year-over-year decrease of 4.3%. This result is attributed to negative performance in department stores (-12.4%), hardware stores and home finishing products (-16.1%), home equipment (-12.3%), books, newspapers, and stationery items (-3.1%), and pharmacies and drugstores (-4.0%).

September 2021: Manufacturing Statistical Bulletin

In September 2021, manufacturing production continues to rise, growing 7.0% compared to September 2020 and 4.4% compared to September 2019 (pre-pandemic). It accumulates ten months of growth, driven by the rise in industrial exports (+23.7%) and the dynamism of non-primary manufacturing, mainly, by industries linked to the construction sector.
