In October 2024, the volume of hydrobiological resource landings in the Fishing Sector totaled 73.2 thousand tons (MT), reflecting a 77.1% decrease compared to the same month in 2023. This decline was primarily driven by a reduction in the extraction of resources for Direct Human Consumption (CHD) (-17.1%) and a sharp drop in the landing of anchovy destined for Indirect Human Consumption (CHI) (-98.8%).
